1) He is concerned for the lack of effective leadership  Nehemiah 1

• without effective leaders, a city is like…wall..broken down…gates…burned with fire… Nehemiah 1:3

2) He has a vision, prayerful planning and goal  Nehemiah 2

• he exercises faith to ask the King’s favours …the king granted my request… Nehemiah 2:8
